Climate and Nature
Stratford and Bow sits on the frontline of the climate crisis - and is leading the way in tackling it through innovation and action.
Before entering Parliament, I was Director of Diplomatic and International Relations at the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group. In that role, I worked with nearly 100 mayors and governors across 50 countries – alongside partners like the United Nations, Bloomberg Philanthropies and leading advocacy organisations – to drive more ambitious, science-based climate action.
Now, in Parliament and on the international stage, I’m continuing to push for bold, global action on the environment and nature. I’ve served on the GB Energy Bill Committee, highlighted the work of brilliant local innovators like Notpla, and I’m Vice-Chair of the APPG on International Conservation and Co-Chair of the Waterways APPG.
