Meeting the President of Palestine

As a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, it was a privilege to meet with H.E. Mahmoud Abbas, President of Palestine.

Meeting with the President I reaffirmed my personal commitment to continuing to use my voice to call for a ceasefire, to push for unrestricted access to humanitarian and medical aid, to continue to push the UK Government to work with international partners to collect evidence of genocide, war crimes and upholding of international law.

Please be assured that I conveyed the solidarity from all of us in Stratford and Bow to President Abbas.
