Recognition of Palestine is a historic moment. But, on the ground, millions of civilians are still suffering inhumane conditions and a man-made famine.
Aid workers, including Medical Aid for Palestinians, are performing heroic feats to provide the bare minimum to Palestinians. It was good to join their panel at Labour Party Conference.
We heard harrowing testimony from doctors on the panel, who had been on the ground in Gaza. We are united in our call: The Israeli government must stop their cruel chokehold on medical and humanitarian aid now.
