The Devastating Situation in Palestine

The situation in Palestine is devastating.

I saw just a glimpse of it first-hand when I visited the West Bank earlier this year as a member of the UK’s Foreign Affairs Committee.

The world is seeing the destruction, starvation and humanitarian crisis that is being wreaked on the Palestinian people.

This remains the top issue my constituents write to me about. They, like me, are appalled at the injustice and inhumanity.

I have used my voice consistently to challenge the status quo and to push for further action - for the immediate recognition of Palestine, an immediate ceasefire, the release of hostages and bodies, and desperately needed aid.

We must do all we can to call for peace and for a viable two-state solution.
