Recognising Palestinian Statehood

I welcome the Government’s MoU with the Palestinian Authority reiterating support for a two-state solution.

But now is the time for the Government to finally recognise the State of Palestine.

Palestinian statehood is not in the gift of any neighbour - it is the inalienable right of the Palestinian people, and essential to long-term peace and security in the region.
