Situation in Gaza

The Under Secretary General for UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, has made clear the catastrophic situation in Northern Gaza - “the entire population is at risk of dying”

Hospitals have been hit, health workers have been detained, shelters burnt down & tens of thousands of people have been killed.

In Parliament’s urgent questions today, I asked the Foreign Secretary, David Lammy, if the UK would use its role as Chair of the UN Security Council to push for urgent humanitarian access, the protection of civilians, the freeing of hostages and an end to this terrible conflict.
