I’ve joined 90+ MPs in calling on major social media companies to take urgent action on the vile racism and misogyny directed at Jess Carter.  

Online racist abuse isn’t free speech - it’s a failure of platform responsibility.  

It runs rampant on here and other platforms.

It’s why many in the public eye, like me, are forced to turn off comments.

It’s time social media companies stopped looking the other way.
