Supporting our Firefighters

I’ve stood proudly with our Firefighters for over a decade, from opposing fire station closures to taking to the picket line to fight for their pay and conditions.

Great to meet London FBU friends in Westminster as part of their lobby day.

Also pictured here is my friend Dave who has been instrumental in advocating on behalf of his fellow Fire Fighters:

• Locally, I’ve visited Stratford Fire Station and raised their concerns directly at PMQs

• Locally I’ve also met with brilliant LFB Tower Hamlets Borough Commander and his team where we have worked together to help local residents with fire safety advice

• In Parliament I’m a member of the FBU Parliamentary group
